NFL Network is on Hulu

I was just recently checking Hulu when I noticed the NFL Network had it's own channel. This led me to find the San Francisco 49ers' channel.

Now I can watch the glory days of the 49ers with Joe Montana, Bill Walsh, Jerry Rice and even Steve Young and Terrell Owens until my eyes bleed!

How to Make People-Free Photos in a Crowded Place

I just saw this article on Shutterstock's contributors site. By taking a bunch of photos of the same place over time you can use Adobe Photoshop CS3's "Stacks Mode" to compile the photos together and remove people from the photographs.

Check it out here.

Angel Investors vs. Venture Capitalists

I recently added two new Blogs to my daily reading list: Marc Andreesen and Ben Horowitz. Marc Andreesen is the former founder of Netscape, sits on the board of Facebook and is a partner in the Investment Firm Andreesen Horowitz. Ben Horowitz is Marc Andreesen's partner in their Investment Firm and is a seasoned manager of many technical companies.

I've always wondered what the difference was between an Angel Investor and a Venture Capitalist (VC). VCs are a buzzword (and staple) in Silicon Valley but Angels play a large and important role early on in the start-up companies life. Ben Horowitz's article Angels vs. Venture Capitalists is worth a quick read and is really insightful - coming from someone on the outside.

OffiSync: The Best of Both Google Docs and Office

This lifehacker article details how to get the best of both Google Docs and Microsoft Office. It is pretty interesting; Lifehacker recommends downloading a program called OffiSync which will allow you to open and save Google Docs in Microsoft Office.

This beats Microsoft's Office Live Add-in which is crazy slow and buggy. The only problem with the free version is it doesn't allow collaboration. I guess that's how they make money!

Updated 8/18/2010:
Looks like Office 2010 doesn't work with OffiSync. I haven't checked to see if there is a newer version, instead I just removed it from my computers.
